This wastegate is to be used for specific IHI IS38 model turbos, as a replacement for a bad wastegate.
Audi 8V S3/TT/TTS & Volkswagen Golf MK7R. Can also fit other turbos with EWG (electronic waste gate) 1.8 TSI & 2.0 TSI. This is also backwards compatible with IS20 turbos. Needs modification for IS12.
Common vehicles Audi 8V S3, 8S TTS & Volkswagen Golf MK7R. Can Also fit other IS38 cars such as Volkswagen Passat MQB and Skoda Superb 206 TSI, Arteon, T Roc etc. Can also be used on IS20 vehicles such as MK7 GTI, Skoda Octavia, Tiguan AD with wastegate calibration.
Your or your mechanic may need to recalibrate the EWG with VCDS.
