G055512A2 – (1L) DQ200 Gearbox Oil – Genuine Volkswagen.
Use 1.7L for the gearbox side of the DQ200 gearbox.
1 Litre of Genuine VAG Gear Oil for 02J 5 Speed Gearboxes & 7 Speed DSG DQ200 Transmission.
Although in Manual Gearboxes, the fluid is considered by Volkswagen to be a lifetime fill, many owners like to replace the Oil every 100,000 miles
In DSG Gearboxes this should be changed every 60,000 km. While the gearbox oil is a viscous oil, the mechatronic oil is hydraulic fluid which is not viscous.
For the mechatronics: G0040001LDSP or LM Central Hydraulic fluid
DQ200 gearbox failures are common as they are never serviced due to being ‘sealed for life’. Service your DQ200 if you don’t want to pay for a new gearbox!
